Stromcore’s cloud-based PaaS platform provides IoT-driven real-time battery monitoring, management, and diagnostics for forklifts. Wi-Fi-enabled battery modules and hubs send data to the cloud, delivering clear, actionable insights. Stromcore’s solutions are compatible with almost all existing forklifts and designed to increase efficiency while reducing the environmental impact of logistics. The company has received the Technology Fast 50’s Clean Technology Award.

The Challenges:

Stromcore’s technology was solid, but the lack of an intuitive web interface held back its usability. To interact seamlessly with the PaaS platform, the company required a portal that was user-friendly and could facilitate customers’ monitoring of battery parameters, managing locations, scheduling maintenance, and producing reports in real-time.

Dark Theme with Accent Highlights

The UI is designed in a dark palette that reduces eye strain and creates a modern look. Orange and green accents are used to highlight important elements such as battery statuses, action buttons, or selected dates.

Readable Typography

Simple and easy-to-read fonts are used that remain clear on any screen. The hierarchy of headings and text size facilitates easy navigation between interface elements.

Functional Iconography

Icons add visual clarity to key functions, such as the calendar, notifications, or battery status indicators. This helps reduce the cognitive load for users.

User Experience (UX) Improvements

Interactive Graphs and Tables

Key metrics such as SoC (state of charge), temperature, and current consumption (Amp Draw) are displayed in graphs and tables that are updated in real time. This ensures transparency of operations and quick decision-making.

Pop-ups and Sidebars

Pop-ups enable actions like editing profiles, changing passwords, or scheduling reports, all without leaving the current page. Sidebars are used to integrate functions such as report generation or a battery life cycle calculator.

Easy Navigation

The interface has an uncomplicated menu system, search fields, and filters that provide easy access to a large amount of data, such as battery distribution by location or device.

Adaptability

The interface is optimized for use on different devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones. Thanks to media queries, the interface automatically adapts to screen size, keeping all functions available even on small displays.

Data Interaction

Ensures seamless battery telemetry communication via REST API integration, delivering real-time updates to tables, graphs, and indicators without page reloads.

Security Features

Implements role-based access controls to define data access levels and encrypted HTTPS/TLS protocols to ensure secure data transmission across the platform.
