Humanising Autonomy, a UK-based startup in London, featured in the UK Department for Transport's Future of Mobility Strategy on autonomous vehicles.

Product:

SDK for Humanized Driver Assistance System (HDAS) provides rapid integration of this software for DVRs, third-party and commercially available ADAS systems. By incorporating human behavior context into its logic, the HDAS SDK reduces false positive rates, leading to fewer warnings and an improved driving experience. “Technology we were building didn’t have to wait for that future,” Raunaq Bose, CTO and Co-Founder of Humanising Autonomy.

Introduction:

In June 2024, Humanising Autonomy wanted to optimize its Behavior AI technology integration for safer autonomous driving. Humanising Autonomy was proud of the team it has built over the past few years, and one of the top priorities of the recently closed funding round was to complement this team with relevant new tech talent.

The company required an engineering team skilled in C++ and computer vision to address the specific demands of its advanced AI technology. Finding engineers of the ‘rare breed‘ with expertise in old-school engineering and embedded systems, especially those familiar with the latest AI models, was challenging.

The Devox team first met Lee Cottle, CEO of Humanising Autonomy, in London when the company was new to working with outsourcing partners. During this initial meeting, they discussed the project’s objectives, priorities, and opportunities in detail.
