Otoqi is a comprehensive passenger car logistics provider with end-to-end services. The company focuses on car transfer and delivery, providing turn-key services in micro-logistics between the territories of France, Germany, and Italy.

While collaborating with Otoqi, Devox helped deliver the entire product’s UI/UX and fleet management system (FMS).

Devox helped Otoqi build an FMS. The company needed a solution that would be tailored to their value of unconditional delivery within a prompt time frame: for example, one of the brand’s promises is a 48-hour delivery, no matter the route length. A workflow like this requires a user-friendly software solution that works like clockcwork.

Operational Platform

One of Otoqi’s system products we helped build was a fleet management system. To provide better fleet visibility and potentially simplify related operations, our internal team assisted in setting up easy integration with the client’s in-house systems, as well as other driving applications.

  • Automated Task Management: the task manager allows to distribute tasks such as repair, cleaning, hanging, etc. The functionality includes automated driver assignment and mission tracking regardless of the mission type. The functionality also enables multiple mission flows according to each client’s expectations. The task manager is synchronized with the Driver Application (read below).
  • Mission Dispatch: the AI algorithms dispatch assignments to the network of Otoqi’s drivers based on the real-time status and priorities of their clients’ fleets.
  • Client’s Mission Creation & Import: Fleet Manager can import missions generated by the clients’ systems. It also generates any type of mission to reach the 95% fleet availability rate guaranteed by Otoqi’s services. 
  • Recording of Past, Ongoing, and Planned Missions: this functionality enables complete oversight of all fleet activities. For past missions, the system provides detailed records, including trip history, vehicle usage, driver data, and any maintenance performed. Ongoing missions can be tracked in real-time, giving managers full visibility of vehicle locations, estimated arrival times, and current status. Planned missions are scheduled and organized within the system, allowing for efficient resource allocation and proactive management of fleet requirements.
  • KPI Management: customizable KPI tracking monitors key performance indicators relevant to fleet operations. They include vehicle utilization rates, fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, driver performance, and overall mission success rates, enabling Otoqi’s clients to identify areas of improvement, reduce operational costs, and increase productivity across the fleet. The system also enables Otoqi’s managers to generate performance reports and set benchmarks to continuously optimize fleet operations.
  • Real-Time Business Intelligence: provides up-to-the-minute data on all aspects of fleet management. This includes dashboards with visualized metrics such as fleet availability, vehicle health, route optimization, and fuel consumption. Managers can quickly access insights into operational efficiency, vehicle status, and mission progress, enabling informed decision-making on the go. The system also uses predictive analytics to anticipate maintenance needs and suggest optimizations based on historical and real-time data, ensuring higher performance and lower downtime.

Digital Platform

Otoqi’s digital platform has been built to work together with professional automotive partners. It enables them to streamline their day-to-day operations and predict future trends.

  • Digital Toolbox serves as a crucial interface that seamlessly integrates with the most widely used Dealer Management Systems (DMS) in the market. This compatibility allows Otoqi’s platform to connect effortlessly with its customers’ IT systems through APIs, providing a versatile and dynamic solution. Whether customers want to manually launch, monitor, or modify car-moving operations or automate these tasks entirely, the system offers full control and flexibility.

  • Instant Quotation for Any Service: Otoqi’s platform offers real-time, automated quotations for any fleet service, enabling users to receive immediate pricing details for their specific vehicle transport or delivery requests.   • Manual Order Booking or Through API: the system supports both manual order bookings and seamless integrations via API.   • Simplified Selection of Missions: intuitive design simplifies the mission selection process for users. With just a few clicks, users can assign missions, choose specific services like vehicle transfer, refueling, or repairs, and track the mission’s progress in real-time. AI-powered suggestions help streamline mission planning by proposing the most efficient routes and drivers based on real-time data, further optimizing fleet performance.

Quality Control Instruments

Among other features, Otoqi’s system offers different mechanics that help every user persona (client or driver) comply with quality standards and ensure desired results’ delivery.

  • Inventory with Photos at the Beginning and End of Each Mission: every vehicle goes through a detailed inventory check, with high-quality photos taken at both the start and the conclusion of each mission. This provides a clear record of the vehicle’s condition, promoting transparency and reducing disputes over any damage.
  • Photo Control Powered by AI: the system leverages AI technology to automatically analyze photos taken during missions. The AI identifies potential issues, such as damage or irregularities, and flags them for further review. This automated photo control speeds up and improves the accuracy of condition assessments, reducing the need for manual checks.
  • Customer Reviews and Conveyor Punctuality Analysis: the system gathers real-time customer reviews after each mission and monitors the punctuality of vehicle movements, offering insights into delivery performance and areas to improve. This helps boost customer satisfaction by addressing logistics inefficiencies.
  • Customizable Dashboards: users can adjust their dashboards to highlight relevant metrics like KPIs, mission progress, or customer feedback. This tailored view helps businesses track performance trends and make informed, data-driven decisions.

Data Management System

Every client has a transparent means of controlling and navigating their driver.

  • Driver’s KPI Monitoring: The system tracks and analyzes Otoqi drivers’ performance with customizable KPIs, including delivery punctuality, vehicle handling, fuel efficiency, and mission success rates. Managers gain real-time insights and detailed reports to support data-driven decisions and targeted operational improvements.
  • Customizable Dashboards by Customer: Each customer can adjust their dashboard to view the data most relevant to them, such as fleet availability, mission progress, and service quality. This flexibility enables businesses to optimize operations and make informed choices based on key insights.

Mobile Application

Within their working duties, Otoqi’s drivers conduct a broad range of functions apart from just driving: they also handle all the services required to operate customers’ fleets, such as refueling, repositioning, cleaning, and field repairs. Hence, a mobile application for drivers in the field has to be a reliable assistant in all these matters.

The driver’s app has all the necessary functionality needed for their work, assisting them in the field with any work-related issue or process and allowing them to coordinate their actions.

  • Intuitive Design: it only takes a few clicks to choose, carry out, log progress and conduct other actions related to the mission in the app. They can also request assistance, optimize their schedules, and track their incomes.
  • Smart Algorithms: we’ve helped incorporate AI that instantly informs drivers of the missions closest to their position and also groups together several consecutive missions.
  • GPS-Enabled Real-Time Tracking: the client (the car recipient) can track the car in real-time, receiving the link before the driving process begins. They can contact the driver and retain access to the link until the moment they receive the car. 
  • Quality Management & Assurance: the application generates a geolocalized and time-stamped inventory of the vehicle, which includes up to 16 photos taken at departure and arrival and provides customizable checklists or the itinerary of the trip. Drivers can log and send photos of each intervention.

Omniversal Car-Sharing Software Compatibility

Both the platform and application are compatible with external software. Such integration allows leveraging other applications’ functionality, ensuring minimal effort for Otoqi’s client.

  • Full compatibility with popular car-sharing apps (Vulog, Zity, Drivalia, Enjoy, Ridecell, Octo, Miles, Ubi, Vulog, etc).
  • Seamless integration lets synchronize and manage tickets generated by Otoqi’s agents in real-time while automating back-office operations.
